Amidst confirmed speculations of Beat facelift making a way soon into our markets soon, we have landed upon two mule spottings in Pune which raise eyebrows.
The test vehicles aren’t heavily camouflaged. They were concealed only in the front and the rear portions. Though these are Left Hand Drive models, it appears that similar changes will be made to our Indian right hand drive models.
These mules carry a few changes from the international Beat (Spark) facelift like the very similar front grille. However, the redesigned fog lamps and cluster appears to be this model specific. There are a few minor changes to the rear as well. There also lies the possibility of some changes in the trim levels of the car. We see two different trims here with one car running on alloys and the other on regular steel rims.
The possibility of mechanical changes appears very slim at the moment. Beat currently employs three options; a 1.2 litre petrol engine and an optional LPG along with a 1.0 litre diesel engine. The source of these spyshots, Overdrive.in, in fact seems confident that these changes will also be carried onto our Indian version.
Will the facelifted Beat be present at Chevrolet’s stall at the Auto Expo? The answer is yes! Along with the surprise compact SUV, Chevrolet will also showcase their bread and butter refreshed Beat at the Expo.
The Beat is a very snazzy looking car with its well-shaped proportions and build. How will Chevrolet better an already striking design, we will get to see at the Auto Expo.
