Tata Motors has announced that it has received an order of 1,542 Sumo Gold Utility Vehicles from various police and other law enforcement agencies in the country.
The Sumo Gold boasts of a ground clearance of 182 mm. The 3.0L CR4 diesel engine produces 85 PS of power at 3,000 rpm and 250 Nm of torque in the range of 1,000 to 2,000 rpm. All of this with a fuel efficiency of about 15 kmpl helps in giving out a rugged, comfortable, reliable and low cost of running vehicle, making it a critical member in law enforcement agencies across the country.
