MotorBash readers will find a stark resemblance of the official pics of Euro-Spec Nissan Micra with the spyshots of a slightly-different Micra facelift we shared with you in April (Here)
Obviously, that time it was not known and a suspicion held true about the possibilities which now goes fizzled. Nissan has revealed the Euro-Spec 2013 Micra facelift which is what the Indian version will also look like. This is visually different from the Micra facelift that the company launched in Thailand.
Here are the main changes:
- Sharper Headlamps
- Fog Light surrounds
- Restyled Grille
- New Bumper
- Elongated rear hatch
- LED Taillights
- Stylish Alloys
We have already spied this in India and can expect a lot of it for the Indian version as well. It will continue to be powered by the 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel motors and is expected to be launched in a few months. With this new facelift we believe Nissan will also bring in the CVT (Automatic) Gearbox to the Micra range. The best thing about this new face is that, it lends Micra the much needed lesser-feminine looks.
Apart from this Nissan also intends to launch a lower cheaper price variant of Micra that has been caught testing many times on our roads (Spyshots & Details).
However, if we are asked, we liked the Thai version a little more than this Euro spec Micra. What about you?
