After Mercedes-Benz revealed their prices for the A-Class Line-up in Germany, the company has finally announced the prices for the A-Class in Britain. Premium Luxury Hatch lovers across the globe were eagerly waiting for this cheapest and smallest product from Mercedes-Benz.

Just like Germany, UK also gets all the 7 variants of the A-Class. 3 petrol models, 2 diesel models and rest 2 are AMG inspired models. The A-class is available in Britain at a starting price of £18,945 (US$29,600 and €23,800). The sales will commence in Britain from the month of December 2012. We’ll sum it up and make it easy for you to understand:
- A 180 BE with a 1.6-Litre Petrol Engine that produces 121 BHP (122 PS).
- A 200 BE with a 1.6-Litre Petrol Engine that produces 154 BHP (156 PS).
- A 250 BE powered by a 2.0-Litre Petrol Engine that produces 208 BHP (211 PS).
- A 180 CDI powered by either a 1.5-Litre or a 1.8-Litre Diesel Engine both producing 108 BHP (109 PS).
- A 200 CDI equipped with a 1.8-Litre Diesel Engine that produces 134 BHP (136 PS).
All the variants will be Front-Wheel-Drive and a 6-Speed Manual or a 7-Speed Automatic gearbox will perform the duty.
