The tyre has a customized tread compound which provides excellent performance in the ever changing conditions of a mine. It gets wider grooves towards the shoulder reducing the chances of stone entrapment and superior and enduring carcass for high load carrying capacity along with exceptional structural stability under extreme conditions.
Apollo Tyres will be curing these newly launched tyres at their second manufacturing plant at Limda, Gujarat, which claims to have one of the biggest curing presses available in Southeast Asia. Apart from Limda, the Gurgaon based company also has two other manufacturing plants at Peramba and Kalamassery in Kerela and one in Chennai.
