When Tata Motors was in big trouble setting up the Nano Production Plant in West Bengal, Gujarat came to the rescue. Tata Motors finally set up the Nano Plant in Sanand, Gujarat. Now, Chattisgarh government wants Tata Motors to assess the possibilities of setting up a production plant in the state.
Chief Minister of Chattisgarh, Mr. Raman Singh told reporters: “I met Ravi Kant today. I invited him to explore whether Tata Motors is able to set up a plant in our state. We have the necessary infrastructure”.
Mr. Ravi Kant was the former Managing Director and current Vice-Chairman of Tata Motors.
