After creating a success wave with multiple launches in 2014, Maruti Suzuki will get even more aggressive in 2015 and has a huge list of products slated for shows, almost all round the year.
The 2015 onslaught will start with Dzire facelift, which according to Business Standard, is launching next month in February 2015. And Maruti will follow it up with the much awaited Celerio diesel within a couple of month from then, in April.
Both Dzire facelift as well as Celerio diesel have been snapped testing multiple times and will add a lot to Maruti’s already spiraling sales. Dzire facelift gets minor cosmetic changes like new grille, bumper etc but we foresee addition of new features and equipment list like the new Swift.
Rated fuel efficiency figures are also expected to be higher and may be a little less than Swift’s 25.2 kmpl for diesel and 20.4 kmpl for diesel.
Celerio diesel will get an all-new indigenous 800cc diesel engine which is expected to produce power output around 38 bhp and fuel efficiency figures of around 27 kmpl. The car was suffering from high NVH levels and we hope the final production models will have these ironed out.
In terms of design, the Celerio diesel will carry very similar looks with the badges distinguishing the petrol and diesel variants.
