MotorBeam.com is upto it once again. After revealing the first ever uncamouflaged spyshots of the car a few days back, they now have leaked the interiors of Celerio out on the interweb.
This is the top of the line ZXi trim and at the very first glance, the interiors look upmarket and interesting. Here are our quick observations from these leaked interior shots of the car:
The point of attraction of Celerio is the AMT it will sport. As we can see, it has the regular P,R,N and D modes at the right and you can use it in the normal manual transmission mode which is marked with + and -. Will all variants of Celerio come equipped with AMT, we will come to know only towards its launch.
Celerio will be launched with the 1L K-Series petrol engine that does duty on the WagonR and Alto K10 and produces 67bhp and 90Nm of torque. In India it will replace the A-Star and Estilo and internationally it is a replacement for ‘Alto’ (as was the A-Star).
Celerio will also get an 800cc indigenously built diesel motor in our market but that will depend on the response this car gets and the difference in petrol and diesel prices. Tentatively, we expect it to spill over to 2015.
After its debut at the Auto Expo in Delhi next month, we expect Maruti to launch it shortly thereafter at an expected starting price or Rs 3.7 Lakh which may spread across till 5 Lakh or slightly more.
