The engine option is expected to be the familiar 2.2 litre SD4 unit in two power outputs of 147 bhp and 187 bhp. Transmission includes a 9 speed automatic gearbox.

  1. Mahindra TUV 300:

The TUV 300 will be Mahindra’s first real competition against the Ford EcoSport. The sub 4 meter SUV is expected to be powered by the same 1.5 litre mHawk diesel engine seen in the Quanto albeit with some tweaks. The Tough Utility Vehicle (TUV), yes Mahindra calls it that, will be launching on September 10.

From the recent spyshots it gets confirmed that TUV will get a high nose with flat roof and there is a marked resemblance with the Jeep’s Cherokee!
