While We saw a decline in the sales of Maruti Suzuki India Pvt. Ltd. Mahindra and Mahindra was busy experiencing a growth of healthy 28% and sold 21,154 vehicles including Utility Vehicles and Verito in May 2012 compared to 16,702 vehicles in May 2011.

Mahindra and Mahindra also saw a hike in sales of tractors in the domestic as well as export market. The company sold 19,016 in total(domestic and exports combined) in May 2012 compared to 18,892 tractors in May 2011.
