This is possibly one news which, I am sure, all petrolheads would love to read. Mitsubishi has dropped the prices of its sedan car Cedia and the car is now available at 7.99 lakhs ex showroom Delhi.
Now consider this, after paying 8 lakh rupees you get a higher segment car with a very potent 2 Liter engine which is extremely fuel efficient along with being a lovely city and highway car. You get 115 BHP to play with but the biggest fun is its 175Nm of torque which makes all that zipping around the roads big time entertaining. The car which comes in only one variant gets a whole bunch of features which include adjustable driver’s seat, keyless entry, ABS, EBD and twin airbags for driver and front passenger among many others. This is definitely one car which calls for a big VFM tag attached to it.
This is clearly a move by the company to increase its dead sales. Lancer and Cedia both combined have not managed to sell even 100 units since January 2012. In days when Fiesta’s and Verna’s are moving up the ladder of segmentation, this move from Mitsubishi should break a nail and get people to its showrooms, at least some…!
