Official: Hyundai’s New Elite i20 is 15300 Bookings Strong (in 20 Days)
Hyundai India seems to be on Cloud 9 thanks to the heavy rush which is eating up their new Elite i20 like fresh cakes. The company in an official communication has told us that they have registered 15,300 bookings of the car in the first 20 days since its launch.

Hyundai’s latest offering in India, the Elite i20 has managed to get 12,000 bookings in just 15 days. The figure appears more commendable when one considers the tough competition the i20 has in the form of the Polo facelift, Punto EVO, and also the ever-popular Swift.
The older i20 was doing okay for Hyundai but the company did not wait for the sales figures to drop alarmingly before bringing in the next generation of the car. So while the older car already had good interiors and class-leading features and equipment, the Elite i20 takes it another level and again sets the benchmark in those aspects. Also, we had liked the new exterior of the Elite i20 ever since the first undisguised pictures surfaced on the web, and the good number of bookings tells us that the prospective customers are appreciating the muscular and bolder look too.
