EcoSport is one of the most successful cars in India by Ford and has been a mass seller for the company. Though the wait period has lessened, but Ford still keeps it available on booking and a waiting period ranging to a few months.
But the good news is that, Ford has made EcoSport available through Defence and Central Police Canteens in India. It will be sold at all Canteen Stores Department (CSD) and Central Police Canteen (CPC) across the country.
Ford’s Classic, Figo and Endeavour are already sold through these canteens and EcoSport would be company’s fourth car in the list. All the current serving and ex-servicemen will be be able to get the benefits and along with this Ford will also offer priority delivery on the car.
EcoSport is powered by a 1.5L diesel engine as well as 1.0L Turbocharged EcoBoost and 1.5L petrol engines and gets the option of an automatic transmission (with the 1.5L engine). We believe all these variants will be made available in CSDs and Police canteens.
