Renault first introduced the Lodgy Stepway, a cross-version of their regular Lodgy MPV, back in June 2015. It was limited to the top of the line RXZ variant and was offered only in the 110 PS version. After more than a year later, Renault has increased the number of offerings and it also gets the option of the lower-powered 85 PS version.

Renault also claims that they have made 16 changes in the new updated version of the MPV. Most noticeable features of the car include…

The MPV continues to be powered by the 1461 cc DCI engine in 85 PS/200 NM (which gets fixed geometry turbocharger) and 110 PS/245 Nm (Variable Geometry Turbocharger) trims. It is being offered in the following six colours…

Lodgy has been averaging between 300 to 400 unit sales in the last three months and the only saving grace is that its numbers are generally higher than Honda’s Mobilio! Other than that MPVs have not really clicked in India barring a couple of them. Let us see how many units can the newly introduced Lodgy Stepway 85PS variant add.
