April 2013 witnessed possibly the most important launch for Honda in India – their first ever diesel car Honda Amaze.
One of the two most important launches scheduled for this year, Honda Amaze was launched amidst a lot of fanfare recently. The car has opened with bumper bookings as well.

Yesterday Honda addressed the media in what they called as an important corporate announcement. The announcement was regarding the Tapukara plant in Rajasthan.
With the long-neglected-now-home diesel, Honda has real serious plans for India. In an official announcement, Honda cars revealed that they will invest 2500 crores in its Tapukara plant in Rajasthan.
If you have been waiting for a game changer in the Indian small car segment, it appears to be arriving very shortly under the name of Honda Amaze.
