While spy pics have been doing round for some time with speculations on its power output, this time we have the confirmation of ‘how much’ will the Abarth Avventura produce…
The pictures confirm that Avventura will be carrying the same exterior package with a slightly altered look on the exhaust tip. The body cladding continues to carry the label Avventura and not the Abarth badging at least on the test mules. The alloy wheels too remain the same.
Interiors also continue to be dual tone units, although we do expect an upgrade in terms of features list. While the petrol Avventura was so far devoid of safety features like ABS , EBD and airbags, the new version, expected to be called Emotion T-Jet or Abarth should be fitted with them. And before we forget, yes the car gets disc brakes all around!
The biggest change to the vehicle however will be the engine. The 1.4 litre T-Jet petrol mill will churn out a maximum power output of, exclusively confirmed by MotorBash, 135 horses! We already love the Linea T-Jet and 135hp should be a stunner! The same tune is expected to go to the sibling Punto Evo Abarth as well. Launch of Avventura T-jet is expected sometime towards the festive season..
