While Honda is busy trying to expand its market share in India, the company has set a target of 3 lakh units a year by March 2017. To do that, apart from boosting the production and launching new cars, they also need to boost their sales & touchpoint setup.

To build on that, the company has announced the inauguration of their 200th dealership in India. Metro Honda, their 200th outlet, is located at Bowenpally, RR District, Secunderabad.

The company aims to increase its total dealership network by 35 per cent during the financial year 2014-15. This would increase the total to 230 dealerships by March 2015 in 150 cities spread across the length and breadth of the country. They have plans to add 100 new dealers in the next 16 months.


The company has already crossed the 1 lakh target in sales in the current financial year. They have so far sold 1,01,442 units between April to October 2014-15, in comparison last year they sold just 70,831 units during the same time last year, thus registering a growth of 43 per cent.

Spread over an area of 58,000 square feet, the new facility has been designed to provide a complete range of Honda services to customers, be it sales, service or spare parts. The facility boasts of a showroom and a modern workshop with 25 workshop bays and facilities for Body and Paint, wheel alignment, wheel balancing and other services.

The dealership has trained and dedicated manpower who would strive for customer delight.

Metro Honda has facilities like lounge area and kids play zone for the family. It also offers facilities like Auto Terrace, Honda’s one-stop facility for exchange and pre-owned car purchase and Honda Assure for all motor insurance requirements.
