In a desperate move, Tata Motors has pulled the ‘Emergency’ button. Their last month sales stood at a paltry 10,000 odd units, ONLY!
They do have a lot of new products planned but not most of them are production ready. Some are under test and some are at the drawing boards. To fill the gap in between, Tata has slashed prices of almost all its cars sparing the tiny Nano.
The most luring part is the slash on Manza. After launching the rich Club Class a few months back, Tata has reduced its prices by as much as Rs 50,000! The new Club Class Manza Quadrajet starts at 5.99 Lakhs from the earlier 6.49 Lakhs. That is almost a reduction of 8% on the ex-showroom price of the car. In addition to this, you can also enjoy more discounts if you haggle a little more at its dealerships.
And if you thought that was it, there is another offer just to not let you leave the showrooms. Tata has launched a Buyback Assurance program wherein you can get 60% resale value of your car after 3 years of its ownership. There is an obvious star at the end for terms and conditions. But that we expect will just be the generic terms to be fulfilled to be eligible for the offer.
