Chevrolet has really been busy for the last many months. They have launched as many as 6 new cars in the last 12-13 months which include refreshes/additions to the current lineup as well as completely new products.
And now, they are bracing up for their 7th launch and second this year – Enjoy MPV. Unveiled at last year’s Auto Expo, Enjoy is being tested for a long time now. We have many specimens of tapped, criss-crossed Enjoys roaming around in different cities of India. A similar example is this one which we caught testing a couple of days back in Pune.
This is the LS version on test and in all probability a petrol. Enjoy will come with an option of a 1.4L 95PS petrol mill along with the 1.3L SMARTECH diesel mill from Sail twins. We pray Chevy launches it in VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo) guise for more power. Chevrolet will pit Enjoy against Ertiga and Evalia. In size, Enjoy sits just between these two MPVs and it will be placed under company’s own Tavera.
We have revealed way back in July 2012 that Enjoy will come with seating configurations of 2+2+2 as well as 2+3+2. Chevrolet will count the last row as 3 but according to what we have seen of the car, 3 will be a tight fit at the back. Enjoy will harness the space plus price quotient to woo buyers.
Displayed above is a clear shot of Enjoy from the Auto Expo 2012 in Delhi. Production of the car has already commenced at Chevy’s Talegaon Plant in Pune and Launch of Enjoy is expected in April at a really luring price tag of under 6 Lakhs!
