After EcoSport, we can label the upcoming Nissan Terrano as the most caught to-be-launched car in the Indian market of recent times. We have spyshots of the car coming in thick and fast.
After a couple of mules were spotted with different alloy wheels, S.I.N.G.H, a Team-BHP member, has shared some closer shots of Terrano which was caught refuelling at a petrol pump at Kattankulathur in Chennai. According to S.I.N.G.H, the difference between Terrano & Duster appeared to be similar to what we have in Micra and Pulse. This is evident since both these products are mere rebadge jobs of essentially the same car.
Nissan Terrano will come with a different face as well as a reworked rear. In an earlier set of spyshots, it has been revealed, that Terrano will also come with different interiors and a report also confirms the presence of a 4×4 variant in the offing. Terrano will be offered in both the engine options – 1.6L petrol as well as 1.5L K9K diesel which will get both the 85PS and 110PS tunes.
Terrano will be unveiled this month and will be officially available for sale in a couple of months from now. It will be Nissan’s best bet in the market and the company will be banking on it for a makeover of the rusty run they have had till now.
We will not be surprised if the Terrano comes out as a bettered Duster, the only glitch we see is the speculation of a higher price tag. We dearly hope and urge Nissan to undercut Duster’s pricing to make Terrano a real deal!
