Yesterday, Tata Motors had also joined the price hike club but with two exceptions. Nano and the Aria will bear the same price tag but rest all are now costlier 7,000 INR to 12,000 INR to counter with the higher input costs.
Also to be noted that Hyundai, even after declaring the same hasn’t joined the leaague but other companies like Maruti Suzuki, General Motors, Toyota Kirloskar and Mahindra also hiked the prices of their offerings by upto 17,000 INR in which 17,000 INR is for Maruti Suzuki’s hatch Swift Diesel variant, while a minimal amount of 2,400 INR is increased on the SX4 Sedan with Mahindra increasing the price of the XUV500 for 55,000 INR.
General Motors hasn’t increased the prices of Aveo, Aveo UVA, Optra and Captiva.
