SPIED: Nissan Micra Facelift Caught

First things first! Do not confuse this with the low-cost Micra that is being tested on the Indian roads. Since it has been few years Nissan’s Micra has been on the roads, the Japanese company has plans to refresh the car for good!

A member of a Thailand based forum Pulsar-club.com has caught a completely uncamouflaged Nissan Micra facelift and the good part is that, the pics reveal all the angles of view of the car. In Thailand and a few other markets, Micra is sold under the name of ‘March’. First up, the metallic golden color looks good on the car.

Redesigned bumper houses a bigger air dam and more importantly angular fog lamps from the current round ones. Front grille is also refreshed with a wide chromed ‘V’ shaped trench. The Nissan logo also slips down between this ‘V’. The headlamps also appear to look like a pointed leaf.

The rear also gets a modified rear bumper and fresher new tail lamps. In all, with this new face, Micra looks better and has shed a lot of its Justin Bieberly looks! Engine options are expected to remain the same 1.5L K9K diesel and 1.2L petrol, albeit a few tweaks and better driveability are always expected.

Since these pics are not from India, we can not be sure about its launch time here, but Nissan might just launch the upcoming CVT Automatic gearbox on this facelifted Micra. Let’s see!
