Honda Launches Amaze Anniversary Edition at an Outrageous 72K Premium!

Honda Cars India has introduced an anniversary edition of its compact sedan Amaze to celebrate the first anniversary of the car’s launch in the country.

The special edition Amaze will have an emblem over the car which reads as ‘Anniversary edition’ to highlight ‘specialness’. It is available in the VX and S variants in both petrol as well as diesel.

To make these cars their own, customers will have to shell an outrageous 71,861 rupees more than the price of the standard VX and S models. The price of regular Amaze S and VX versions is Rs 5.69 lac and Rs 6.64lac (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively for petrol and Rs 6.65 lac and Rs 7.49 lac (ex-showroom, Delhi) for diesel respectively.

The Anniversary edition models get a special body kit which makes the car look sportier than the existing models, which includes:

  • front under-spoiler
  • side under-spoiler
  • rear under-spoiler
  • trunk-spoiler
  • door visors
  • exhaust pipe finisher

In terms of interiors, the car will have different upholstery and wooden finish panel on the dashboard.

The company intends these new additions to not only add to the overall charm of the car, but also create a combination of striking features and styling.

Honda also confirmed that they have sold as many as 80,000+ units of Amaze in the year gone by and hopes to continue with the good sales volume. Amaze is Honda’s second best-selling car (after the City). The management hopes that the special ‘anniversary edition’ with its differentiated and youthful looks, will have a greater appeal to customers.

Honda has been doing pretty well in the country. With the new Jazz coming up soon and the Mobilo all set to join the ranks, the company can certainly is going all guns blazing!
