Like other manufacturers, Hyundai is also offering tons of discounts and offers on their cars to push sales. The South Korean automaker is the country’s second largest car manufacturer, shipping 36,205 units out of its factories.
The discounts includes cash discount, exchange benefit etc.

- Elantra: Rs 55,000
- Verna: Rs 48,000
- i20: Rs 41,500

Hyundai is also offering a special offer for government employees.
There are no discounts on the latest Grand i10, Xcent and Santa Fe. Sonata, Hyundai’s flagship sedan, is being offered for generous discounts. In some cities, the discounts hover around 1.1 Lacs as well. The D-segment largest seller, Elantra, can also be had for Rs 55,000 less.
The mid-size sedan Verna clocks around 3,200-3,400 units per month while its biggest competitor, the Honda City clocks more than double of this! Let’s see if this discount helps it in anyway.
Apart from the discounts on the i20 mentioned, you also get an assured holiday package which includes a free air ticket and hotel stay for a couple.
Santro, once the bread winner for Hyundai may have slipped from its high pedestal but it still manages to clock fairly decent volumes. The mentioned benefits are not applicable for the non-AC variant.
The tiniest member of the family, Eon allows savings of Rs 38,350. This includes gift cheque, free insurance, corporate bonus, 3rd and 4th year extended warranty, and exchange bonus. These benefits are not available on the CNG variant.
The Eon has recently gained a bigger 1.0L engine. Even the i20 is due for a new model sometime later this year. There are also speculations of a new premium hatch over the i20 sometime towards the festive season.
