It seems Mahindra is trying to pump in fresh breath of air to their flagship SUV, XUV500 to prepare it for the increased competition in this segment. They recently made it more affordable by launching a lower ‘W4’ variant at Rs 10.95 Lakh Ex-Showroom Delhi.
In conjunction with the government’s announcement to deregulate diesel prices and commence taxing on SUVs, Mahindra & Mahindra has taken a body blow. Most of its products are diesel-powered, and hence the demand for them has taken a hit.
In a move that could be termed as disappointing, M&M has revealed that they have absolutely no new models planned for launch till 2015-16.
One thing that has been consistent with Mahindra has been their awesome marketing campaign for almost all their products.
